By accessing or using SkillPlug’s website and platform ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

SkillPlug provides AI-powered guidance for HVAC diagnostics, repair practice, and field support. The Services use language models, voice, camera context, repair paths, safety stops, and job notes. The Services are designed to assist, not replace, trained professionals, instructors, employers, or licensed technicians.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes
  • Ensure workers using the platform are properly trained, supervised, and certified
  • Not rely solely on AI guidance for high-risk tasks
  • Maintain appropriate safety protocols and supervision
  • Follow EPA Section 608, electrical, gas, refrigerant, ladder, and equipment-safety requirements
  • Report any inaccuracies or issues with AI guidance

SkillPlug does not authorize unqualified users to perform regulated or dangerous work. If a repair path stops, escalates, or asks for professional handoff, you agree not to use the Services to bypass that limitation.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SkillPlug does not guarantee that AI guidance will be error-free. Users are responsible for verifying all instructions, using appropriate tools and protective equipment, and maintaining independent judgment.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillPlug shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by SkillPlug and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data, including procedures, photos, and audit records created using the platform.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease. We will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
